Pre K- K / Ms. Cadwallader
Come join us! We'll be looking for you!
Hometown: Walla Walla, Washington
Graduated from: Washington State University and currently earning my Masters at Walla Walla
University during the summer.
Hobbies: I love searching thrift stores for ugly but interesting wood furniture. I take it home,
paint it, and make it something beautiful. My favorite project is a large IKEA wood trunk that I
decoupaged with magazines from the 1940s and 50s. I also belong to a knitting group that knits
items to donate to local charities and I’m learning to play the guitar.
Secret/special talent: I wouldn’t call it a talent, but I believe we are never too old to learn
something new. My goal is to learn at least one new activity every year. This year I’m learning to
play the guitar and last year I learned to knit. Who knows what I’ll be doing next year?
Favorite thing about being a teacher: I find teaching to be the most rewarding when looking back
through a student’s work. I love to see where a student began and all the progress they have made
through the year. I also love having the opportunity to teach children about God and His love for
them. I want my students to go into the
world and share that love with others.
